Sabriel

Has anyone read this book by Garth Nix? Sabriel? It's the first in a trilogy. I've been told it's a really good book by at least four people I know, and I had a friend lend it to me (forcefully) earlier today. I started reading it, but I really can't get into it. Is there something wrong with me? D:

This book has just been added onto my list of "Books I'm currently reading", which must consist of at least five books or so.

...Hm. Lets see.

Books that I'm reading :

Sabriel
by Garth Nix
A Study in Scarlet
  by Arthur Conan Doyle (Rereading)
The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman
The Power of Your Subconcious Mind by Dr. Joseph Murphy
Memory Power by Scott Hagwood
The Outsiders by S.F.Hinton
Ontario Ghost Stories by Barbara Smith
On The Road by Jack Kerouac
The Kingless Land by Ed Greenwood (Local writer! I've met him and he's damn creepy!)
Honey, Baby, Sweetheart by Deb Caletti.

Holy god. I didn't realize I was reading so many books at once. Truth be told I haven't read Honey, Baby, Sweetheart or The Kingless Land in the last two-three weeks though, but they're sitting there with the bookmark still in them! And not to mention my Sudoku book which is eating away at a lot of my time this weekend.
